Dan Dodd became Executive Director of the Ohio Association of Independent Schools in July of 2011. Prior to his tenure as Executive Director, Dan was a lawyer with Robert J. Dodd, Jr. Co. LPA in New Lexington and also represented the 91st Ohio House District from 2007-2010. As a member of the Ohio House, Dan was Chairman of the House Insurance Committee and was successful in leading several pieces of legislation to enactment into law. Dan also enjoyed a good relationship with members on both sides of the political aisle, working with folks from across the state on behalf of Ohio’s residents. A native of New Lexington, Dan is a graduate of Bishop Rosecrans High School (1996), Villanova University (2000) and the University of Cincinnati College of Law (2003). Dan’s expertise in the legislative and political process allows the voice of OAIS and its member schools to be heard in legislative and executive branch discussions. Dan is a resident of the Hebron area with his wife, Stephanie, daughters, Cecilia and Frances, and son, Augustine.
