Welcome to OAIS 2008!

The Teacher Services Committee of the Ohio Association of Independent Schools invites you to attend our 2008 Conference. Join 1000 or more of your colleagues from throughout Ohio on October 24, 2008 from 9:00 – 3:15. This one-day conference will focus on brain-based research as it applies to the way students learn and teachers teach. Nationally recognized and local experts will present sessions on a variety of topics which may include gender, technology, multiple intelligences learning styles authentic assessment, differentiated instruction, language acquisition, learning differences, and disciplines across the curriculum. Our goal is to provide teachers with information and strategies for implementing best practices in their respective fields.
