Executive Director

Karin H. O’Neil became Executive Director of the Ohio Association of Independent Schools in July of 2001. Previously, Karin was Associate Head of the Williston Northampton in Easthampton, Massachusetts where she has also served as teacher of history and social science, Middle School Director, Director of Studies, and Dean of Faculty. Active in professional development programs at both the state and national levels, Karin served as Chair of the Professional Development Committee of the Association of Independent Schools in New England and as Chair of NAIS’s former Academic Services Committee. Co-author with Steve Clem and Vance Wilson of Taking Measure: Perspectives on Curriculum and Change, Karin has presented numerous workshops on curriculum development and mapping and on evaluation and supervision of teachers at independent school conferences and at individual schools around the U.S.
